While I was in the garage getting this ready, my eyes fell on this chair I picked up last weekend while garage sale-ing. 
It had been reduced to $2!! How could I pass that up! This was really an easy project—light sanding, couple coats of paint, light sanding, poly, and then recover that AWFUL AND GROSS faux vinyl.
Oh, and evict the spiders from under the seat. See the triangle areas? That is where the little critters lurk.
I found this beautiful fabric @ Wal-Mart in the remnant bin. ( I adore remnants!) and I KNEW when I picked up the chair at the sale that it was meant to be! Aren’t they so pretty together? 
It looks SO much better now!
